What is the relationship between literature, language and new media? After more than 10 years by the explosion of the Web, new technologies have changed the way we write, to tell, to be read? The hopes of revival of literature and creative writing in the early 80s some intellectuals had placed in the Internet have been rejected or are translated into new horizons? And how did you react to this market? What are the artistic and economic perspectives of this world? "Oronzo Macondo" wants to be and ask these questions and more in a weekend of meetings, debates, workshops, discussions on contemporary Italian literature. An artist residency to explore the new frontiers of culture, its prospects, its successes, its failures, illusions. Writers, bloggers, sociologists, scholars and critics will be guests of Salento in a sort of big brother of the communication.
