The two sisters, Elinor and Marianne, are the opposite of the other, even in living relationships with the opposite sex: the first rational and sacrificed, the second passionate and instinctive. Both must learn to strike a balance between the two extremes.

This novel was written by Jane Austen and published for the first time in 1811, under the pseudonym "A Lady." Its huge success was evidenced by the fact that it was translated into French as early as 1815, when the writer was still alive.
protagonists are two sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, after the death of his father, are deprived of all their property. This is because, at the time of Jane Austen, the women could inherit property only if there were sons in the family. The two girls, with her mother and younger sister are so forced to live in an atmosphere of intolerance, with brother John and his wife selfish.
The women then decided to move to a modest cottage in the countryside. Meanwhile Elinor is drawn from John's brother in law, Edward Ferrars, a reserved man and that, despite being tempted by the girl, is strangely distant. Marianne, however, following his romantic inclinations, he falls in love a young destitute and without scruples, John Willoughby, who seems to reciprocate his feelings. However, later, the girl discovers that her beloved is about to marry a rich heiress and falls into total despair. Elinor's up to the same delusion, but tries to control hiding all her pain. The situation changed when Edward manages to break an engagement long side, and thus can ask for the hand of Elinor who happily accepts. Even Marianne "settles" a colonel with reliable and always in love with her. She preferred to respect the passion she feels for him. MEETS THE HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH CONSULTATION

during the week of culture we have decided to bring this subject motivated by a desire to revisit a timeless theme, alas, but proposing a new aspect, though paradoxical, emerged with the latest arrests.

This assumption can be checked each day by turning on the TV, where some of the news talk shows but most do nothing but talk of episodes of violence and conflict around the world. So we viewers do not just have to load every day of all these bad news you want for the fast pace of everyone, want to wear and the severity of these reports are set aside in a corner of our head, passing less and less for our consciences. And then there was spontaneous ask ... is that years of education in the legal, beautiful days dedicated to the commemoration of the two pillars of freedom and justice which Falcone and Borsellino, conferences and debates organized by valid antimafia supporters have made us not the most critical issue on the mafia? Or worse still we are sure that we know everything there is to know about it because so much is now an endangered phenomenon? And inspired by recent events proposed by current ... or amendment of Financial concerns the sale of seized property to the Mafia .. can accept without batting an eye measures that somehow do not coincide with the enormous progress made not only by the judiciary and law enforcement but also by the citizens themselves?
To conduct the debate we have used the book "The God of the mafia" by Agusto Cavadi, consigliatoci by prof. Governali and exposed by Mario Alfieri, a member of the council and organizer of the event. In 'analysis of the various points we had the invaluable assistance of Padre Pio's monastery of Corleone. With him, we analyzed the dogma of faith intended by the mafia, taking some references such as that reported in the Luciano Liggio libro,inoltre ci ha raccontato alcune esperienze da lui vissute quando si è trovato a contatto con alcuni camorristi nel carcere di Napoli. Facendo un excursus sull’etimologia della parola e sull’ evoluzione del fenomeno mafioso ci siamo resi conto come questa fede distorta insieme ad un retaggio di presunzione fondata sulla certezza di assolvere i compiti di uno stato che non funziona , spingono i mafiosi a sentirsi nel giusto. Con la consapevolezza di non saperne abbastanza ma analizzando non solo le figure mafiose estrapolate dalla letteratura, ma in generale anche alcune figure criminali appartenenti e non a organizzazioni, si evince come il credersi nel giusto sia il motore propulsore anche dei più efferati delitti.
Noi ragazzi della consulta appreciate the invaluable assistance of Padre Pio, the headmaster and teachers and not least the audience interested high school, left with the earnest wish of an increasingly critical capability for burning everything in their lives meet.
